The King James Bible is used for all studies on this site. The KJV is translated from the Textus Receptus — the Received Text — and represents the most rigorously translated English Bible in history. Its translators used Hebrew and Greek manuscripts and maintained the most accurate possible rendering of the original languages.
When these studies refer to Strong's numbers or the original Hebrew/Greek words, the KJV's word choices align directly with those original languages in a way that modern translations often do not.
